Ooh La La Pin Up Sew Along Pt. 3… Give Away! CLOSED

Uncategorized
To Kick off the 3rd instalment of our Pin Up Sew Along, I am giving away a copy of my PDF “Betty” High Waist Panties Pattern.  It contains sizes xs-lg (34″ hip to 41″ hip), and is easily grade-able. These knickers have been designed for Stretch Knits, but I will show you how to make them accommodate a woven front and back panel. They use about 1 yard of fabric, but because of the princess seaming, you can mix and match fabrics easily, and use up some scraps from your stash!
Here’s how to enter:
  1. Leave a comment on this post letting me know how you’ll be sewing your Betty Knickers – stretch satin, lace, jersey? Please also leave me an email address where I can contact you if you are the lucky winner!
  2. Like Ohhh Lulu on Facebook for an additional Entry
  3. Tweet (@OhhhLulu) or Blog about the Give Away and Sew along for a 3rd entry.
I’ll be accepting Entries from TODAY (Monday, April 9th) and Drawing a name on Friday, April 13th.
Good Luck! And thanks everyone for your input along the way!

THIS GIVE AWAY IS NOW CLOSED! Congratulations Melody – You are the winner!

Trying to decide which fabric I should use first! Maybe jersey to begin with then stretch satin. Looks like a fantastic pattern.

Stretch-lace maybe, I got some red in my stash already. But I will probably stick to cotton since my ladybits doesn't approve of synthetics. And my email is gabriellazamudio(at)gmail(dot)com

hmmm… well I would really want them to match the corset I am working on- so I would want woven panels for sure. And then… oooh lace. I love the idea of lacey sides!
And then… well I would want to make more, so stretch satin would probably be next on my list 😉

Blue and white Stripped stretch satin to create a chevron pattern, buttons sewn on the seams for that sailor look. Summer is round the corner after all.

Woo hoo, these are gorgeous. I'm pretty sure that if I had this pattern in my hands I would attempt them in silk, jersey and lace. My first attempt woud likely be in jersey though.

Hmm… I'm stuck stash diving for the time being, so I would probably make it out of some white jersey on the sides and a yellow rose print satin for the front and back.

I'm with Melody, above — stretch satins for front and back and powermesh on the sides for no-foundation days. Then a thin comfy knit for under foundations.

I have stretch lace, a few colors of stretch satin, and a gauzy stretch knit to sew some up in. Maybe I'll do a silk center panel on one pair, with stretch lace side panels. It is a lovely pattern! And I have been following you on Facebook, though I don't use twitter.
