Warning… sultriness ahead! This pattern is not for the faint of heart.
I’ve had a few requests for a few “sexier” pieces, and I think this is the jackpot. They are layerable, adjustable, and just plain fun to wear and experiment with.

It’s done! And I’m super late to post about it!
I made this pattern about two years ago when I started thinking about getting Isabel out of diapers. I’ve sewed it a lot. And since grading it in different sizes, I’ve sewn it for friends kids too! This little pattern has gotten a lot of use around here.
The Belle Pattern is really easy. The trickiest part is sewing the fold over elastic, but if you’ve sewn with it before, these will be a breeze for you.
The instructions will walk you through how to sew the top with either a lace or FOE neckline. The undies are a super simple cut. Roomy, but perfect for under leggings and jeans.
I really hope you enjoy sewing these as much as I do. They are so quick to put together. It’s the perfect “my kid is napping and I want to make something” project. I currently have this pattern available in 2T-5T, but hope to release bigger kid sizes in the future.
You can purchase the pattern on Etsy or directly through my website!
Warning: butt cheeks ahead!
In my younger days, I wore thongs a lot more. It was the style of the times. As I’ve “matured” I’ve replaced most of my skimpy thongs for more comfortable (still pretty) styles. That’s not to say that thongs aren’t comfortable – they definitely can be! And they serve a practical purpose…
A High Waist Thong may not be super practical for every day wear, but hot damn… it looks great on. I was skeptical when I first started getting requests for a high waist thong, but I thought I’d try it out. I was very pleasantly surprised!
As I was developing this pattern I wanted to come up with a way to use scalloped stretch lace on a high waist thong – that’s View C of the pattern. It’s a little bit Ultimate Lace Panties mixed with a little Ava Panties and I’m really happy with how it turned out. The style lines allow you to mix and match colours and fabrics, one of my favourite things to do with a design!
I made a few different sets as I was sewing up samples, pairing the basic high waist version with my Natalie Crop Top, then I made some bottoms for a Romy Bra and Jasmine Bra (from my Valentine’s Day Sew Along) from my own lingerie drawer.
The hardest part of running a small business, aside from feeling like you’re always at work, is having to do things that you have no idea how to do. For instance, I’ve had to fumble my way through figuring out how to file sales tax, how to set up import numbers, how to build a website (still figuring that one out!). Truth is, I just can’t afford to outsource all of these things, so I DIY it. I spend a lot of my day going, “I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT I’M DOING!!!”
Printed patterns was one of those projects where I had no idea where to start. Lucky for me, my best friend Abbey just happens to work in printing! She amazingly took on this project with me and helped me get professionally printed paper patterns and gorgeous glossy booklets!
When these first arrived in the mail a few weeks ago, my jaw dropped when I opened the box of booklets. I’ve looked at my PDF’s until my eyes were ready to shrivel up like raisins, but I had never seen them in full glossy professional print! They look so beautiful! I’ve always wanted to create products that are not only fun to use (or wear!) but also beautiful to display, and I have to say that these nail it!
And… I have to give a HUGE shout out to my dear Abbey for working on this for me. I could not have done it without her.
I’ve started out with my Jasmine & Ava patterns (but hope to release more if there is the demand) as they are two of my favourites.
With my printed patterns you will receive the pattern printed on a single sheet of paper, no taping required, and a pretty glossy booklet containing large, full-colour photographs, all packaged in a re-sealable plastic pouch.
You can purchase the printed patterns HERE or through my Etsy Shop!
If you run a sewing shop or boutique and would like to carry my printed patterns, please send me an email or contact me through Etsy for details.
This project was so fun to work on and Abbey and I already have a couple more things up our sleeves!
You’ll see a few short, but picture-heavy posts coming through today! I’ve been working hard finishing up a couple of patterns that I have been pouring over for months… But, I think my effort was well worth it!
The first new pattern I’ll show you today is my Anouk Bodysuit. The pattern will walk you through how to sew it with snaps at the crotch so you can wear it as lounge/lingerie/casual wear, but you can easily make this into a swimsuit. In fact, I’m going to do a tutorial in the coming weeks to show you how to make that very simple alteration.
This pattern comes with two neckline variations: a simple v-neck and a ballet-inspired faux wrap front. The v-neckline on this bodysuit is a little different form my Abigail Swimsuit, which has a true triangle cut cup. I find the Anouk is more comfortable and flattering on my body type, which has a fuller bust.
The instructions will show you how to line the cups and add supportive underbust elastic.
I really love the shape of the back – it was a spin off from my Romy Bra.
Also with this pattern I will show you how to do a lace overlay. I wanted to show you how to place the lace so that you can change things up and experiment with your own lace overlays. Adding an overlay is so easy once you know how to do it.
I’m really excited to see how you guys interpret this pattern! I am totally loving it, and can’t wait to make a swimsuit out of it.
You can purchase my new Bodysuit Pattern directly from my website HERE or on Etsy!
Yesterday, I launched two new patterns! You’ve likely already seen these as part of my Made-to-Order Lingerie Line. I love these patterns… I’ve personally made myself several of these and have purchased yards and yards of lace to make even more! I am obsessed!
The Ultimate Lace Panties are designed specifically for scalloped stretch lace. They can be sewn in two ways: a Thong or comfy hipster style. The finishing on these is so easy and they are quick to put together!
Now that I’ve updated my Jasmine Pattern to include instructions on how to use stretch lace, these panties make the perfect pairing for with a lacy Jasmine bra. Seriously, my lingerie drawer is filled with these sets!
You can purchase the Ultimate Lace Panties Pattern Here, or on Etsy. I’ll be adding it to Kollabora and Craftsy soon!
It’s here! It’s pretty much here! I’ve drafted, tested, graded, trued, sewed samples, tested, received feedback, edited and edited and edited, photographed, and edited some more… but it’s here (basically). I’ve listed all but one of my new patterns in my Etsy Shop.
I’ll be adding one final pattern next week. It just needs one little tweak. I just couldn’t wait any longer. I am impatient.
Last Tuesday I did a really fun photoshoot with my beautiful friend/cousin, who modelled for me, and my friend Susie. It was my first time photographing a model, and to make my life extra challenging, I decided I wanted a diffuse back lighting. I’m excited to show you my new things! I’ll be posting about them piece by piece, but in the mean time, feel free to shop the collection HERE.
